Ritual Bowl

by Nur Ceramics

Nur Ceramics is the project of Dina Nur Satti - a ceramics practice based in Brooklyn, but with roots in Sudan, Somalia, France and Kenya. Satti's practice functions as a container - a vessel through which she explores collective transitions, cultural storytelling, and communal rituals.  In her hands, these ceramic vessels carry more than meets the eye.  This collection builds on her Ritual Bowls - a family of elevated dishes.
